My Synopsis Review

Prof Don Tillman is in late 30s, have autism (Asperger Syndrome) causing him to have lack of emotional and social sense but have extraordinary intelligent and extremely disciplined person.
"Why do people value other's time so little? Now we should have inevitable small talk. I could have spent fifteen minutes at home practising aikido"- Don

One day he decides to find a woman to be his life partner. Strangely, the way he conducts a questionnaire as in research subject of finding a suitable candidate, somewhat awkward for normal people. The 'Wife Project' emerge. [By the way, he seriously dedicated every single life of his into a designated project that produces tangible outcome- Failure is not possible with great plan, he quote]. He felt that 'emotional behaviour could cause major problems'. Due to his inability to communicate with people, he only manage to have with 4 friends which are:

1. His sister (died 'due to gross and inexcusable medical incompetence')
2. Daphne (Old woman, also later known have dementia and died, involve in 'Teach Daphne Genetics Project')
3. Gene (Psychology Professor, fellow co-worker, his social life advisor, womaniser)
4. Claudia (Gene's wife, nurse)

Don's life turned upside down after he met Rosie. She was iniatially introduced as a barmaid and surely Don have low expectation of Rosie's intelligence. Later revealed, Rosie is a psychology PhD student in his university, Gene's student. On the other hand, Rosie has some issues on finding her actual father. Unexpected turn of events, Don volunteered his aid to his new acquaintance (Rosie). Don priority change to Father Project, despite not entirely abandon his Wife Project. Every time Don helps Rosie, he felt his life completely change, his schedule, but he look content and happy than before ...and did I mention fell in love? (but of course he did not realize this...)

My GR review
Utterly hilarious. FYI, love story can also be presented in almost 100% professional scientific term without sacrificing romantic-nourishment in it. A must read.

I spend my weekend enjoying a very heartwarming book despite Professor Tillman inability to express human behavior and emotion efficiently. From the so-called "Wife Project" turns to a whole "Father Project" turns to "The Rosie Project". I've never read any other books that makes me feel like I am a genius too! after having to read a different term of expressions of my daily routine 'human interaction'.- See that?! Having book hangover.

ps: I just hope Mr Simsion write another novel because I'm unlikely to read computer data modelling for fun. :)

Recommended above all stars.
